Its hard to believe that this sort of evil could ever exist. Maus was a great read but its still hard to grasp the reality of the Holocaust. But Maus made it easier for the read to understand better. The fact the Jews were the mice relates to the fact that they were treated much like we do our cattle. When the therapist was portrayed as a human with a  mask on stood out the most to me because you can see the direct relation to the story and what really happened. How do we ever let something like this happen? How evil do you need to be to think in this mannor?
